May GSR Report

The most recent district meeting was held on May 3^rd, 2022 at 7:30 pm, virtually and in person.

Some of the items discussed at the last District meeting were:

1. Continued discussion on hybrid district meetings & events
2. Discussion on moving the District meeting from its current location to Saint Mathew’s in Walnut Creek (Wiget Lane) – motion withdrawn no further discussion
3. Presentation on how technology has changed service

We need to take a group conscious on:

1. None

The following events might be of interest:

1. Post-Conference Assembly – Saturday, May 14^th, in Newark, CA
2. District 20 Sharing at Love & Service Group – Sunday, May 15^th at 6:00 pm
3. Service Keeps us Sober – Saturday, June 4^th at 2:00 pm
4. Unity and Service Conference, July 8 – 10, 2022

The following actions have been taken in the district:

1. The monthly District Business meetings will be Hybrid going forward, passed with substantial unanimity.

Everyone is welcome to attend any district or Area Assembly meeting. Even though visitors don’t have a vote, they do have a voice. Please join me next month!

The next District meeting will be held on June 7^th, 2022, at 7:30 pm, virtually and in person.

The next Area Committee Meeting is online on May 28^th, 2022, at 11:00 am.
