- ACYPAA Santa Cruz – February 6-9, 2025 – Santa Cruz, CA
- Plain Language Big Book: A Tool For Reading Alcoholics Anonymous Workshop – Sunday, February 16th @1PM, Benicia Senior Center.
- The room rental at Grace Episcopal Church that the monthly disctrict meeting has increased effective from the start of 2025. The old rental fee that was paid for the past 4 years was $520 per year. The new rental fee in our agreement is $960 per year. This is an 85% increase of $440 per year. If there are questions our DCM is available to answer them.
- District 08 budgets an annual scholarship to PRASSA for current serving GSR or DCM on a standing basis every year to be awarded every year who is chosen by lottery drawing, in the amount to to exceed $1500 each year and used only for reimbursement of PRASSA registration fee, transportation, and up to three nights lodging.
- Passed a motion by substantial unanimity to create a standing accessibilities committee and Officer position at District 08.

- Discuss having an accessibilities committee at District 08
- The General Service App
The following actions have been taken in the district:
- Election of District 08 DCMs – each subdistrict independently nominates and elects the DCM for District.
- Housekeeping Motion: That the District 08 DCMC answer the request from EBYPAA to receive a letter of support from District 08 for their bid to hose ACYPAA 53 Roundup event in 2026.

- We are always looking for Sub-District Committee members, please join us at a monthly District meeting to make yourself available or send us an email. Currently open are 003, 004, 007, 008, 010.

Everyone is welcome to attend any district or Area Assembly meeting. Even though visitors don’t have a vote, they do have a voice. Please join us next month!
